CO Committee votes to reverse ban on killing wild horses

DENVER - The Congressional Committee voted this week to allow the destruction of wild horses which could affect wild animals in Colorado.

The Denver Post reports the House Appropriations Committee voted to reverse a ban on killing wild horses and burros.

The ban is part of a spending bill signed by President Donald Trump.

The Bureau of Land Management wanted to rid the ban as to control horse populations, but the American Wild Horse Campaign says this is a death warrant for healthy animals.
