Local group fights proposed wild horse euthanization

The Bureau of Land Management says too many wild horses and burros live in a 10-state region out west. If Congress adopts provisions in President Donald J. Trump’s budget proposal, the Bureau of Land Management would be allowed to euthanize excess horses and sell them to slaughterhouses.
