The New Year will bring many challenges in the fight to protect America's wild horses and burros. Pressure has been building to lift the ban on killing or selling these national icons for slaughter. The new Congress and Administration will determine their fate. In response, we're increasing our lobbying, legal, PR and grassroots muscle to continue to give wild horses a powerful voice in the halls of government, the courts and the arena of public opinion. 

We are so grateful to our supporters for giving us the resources necessary to wage the battle in 2017 for the future of our wild horses and burros. We are happy to report that our end-of-year fundraising drive was a huge success, with more than 2,500 citizens contributing! Thanks to you, we exceeded our goals and secured $100,000 in matchig funds, proving once again that we are a powerful force to be reckoned with!
