Eyewitness Report: BLM Adoption Event in Swanzey, New Hampshire

On Friday and Saturday, April 21st and 22nd, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) held an adoption event at the Cheshire Fairgrounds in Swanzey, New Hampshire. This was the first of several adoption/sales events that will be held in the Northeastern States District of the BLM (NSD/BLM).

An Exciting Update: The Rescue of the Eaton 16

(March 8, 2023) On the same day AWHC released an explosive investigative report on the deadly consequences of the Bureau of Land Management’s Adoption Incentive Program (AIP),16 BLM-branded mustangs showed up at a notorious kill pen in Eaton, Colorado. 


Eyewitness Report: BLM Adoption Event in Okeechobee, FL

(Feb 15, 2023) On Friday, Feb 10, 2023, I attended the BLM Wild Horse adoption event in Okeechobee, FL.  This was my second time observing this annual event. I arrived at 11:15 a.m. and left at 1:30 p.m. During that time, I observed a continuous flow of couples, families, and small groups of friends coming and going. There was also a group of elementary school children touring the facility and receiving a lecture on the WH&B program.


A Holiday Rescue of 22 Burros

(Jan 4, 2023) 'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house…Not a creature was stirring, not even a mou… well, the staff at Skydog Sanctuary, Auction Horses Rescue, and AWHC sure were. 

Because rescue never stops, not even on Christmas and this year was no different.
